He has extensive experience dealing with civil domestic abuse protective orders (commonly referred to as “restraining orders”) and civil sexual abuse protective orders under Iowa Codes 236 and 236A. He has pursued protective orders as well as defended against those seeking to abuse the civil protective order procedure in hundreds of contested and uncontested hearings.
